Karpathos [starting 2001 …]

Greece as it couldn’t be more beautiful. Located next to Crete, Karpathos is one of the barren and rough islands of Greece. Besides the most beautiful beaches for swimming Karpathos is also visited by surfers. Hospitality, food and beaches – everything is perfect! That’s why we come back here again and again.

Eriyadu – Maldives [2018]

After visiting some Maldives islands we were looking forward to Eriyadu for a long time – with reason – Eryiadu is another jewel of our Maldives trips. A pretty little island, equipped with everything that is needed. Also the house reef and the variety of fishes are nice. If you like diving/snorkeling with sharks, this is the place to be.

Santorini is popular and therefore well visited. But that doesn’t bother – relaxing and bathing is a minor matter here.

Siem Reap – Cambodia [2017]

The temples of Angkor Wat – impressive, beautiful and mysterious. A magical scenery of stones, temples and jungle. But this area offers even more highlights. River villages on stilts, unbelievable mangrove forests but above all natural and extremely friendly personalities.

Cruise – Western mediterranean sea [2017]

Sometimes large cruise ships do not have the best reputation – high environmental impact, too many passengers or short-term overcapacity at some destinations are some arguments against a cruise. But there are also arguments for a cruise. A lot of different impressions, the special experience of shipping, more flexibility than expected and always a place on the ship where you can be completely undisturbed.

Fihalhohi – Maldives [2012]

The special feature of Fihalhohi are the palm trees on the island. This makes a strong tropical atmosphere. Unfortunately the house reef is slightly damaged by El Niño (also at other Maldives islands) – but the fish variety is still rich. We liked Fihalhohi – that’s why we came back.
